ASA recently nominated Lee A. Fleisher, M.D., to the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Methodology Committee. This PCORI committee will work to develop and improve the methodological standards for comparative effectiveness research and will submit recommendations on these standards to the PCORI board within 18 months of its inception (March 23, 2012).
