NCQA Releases Proposed Standards for ACOs

Friday, October 22, 2010

On October 19, 2010, the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) released for public comment its proposed accountable care organization (ACO) standards and measures.  ASA staff will be working with the Ad Hoc Committee on ACOs to submit comments, if necessary, on the draft standards by the deadline of November 19, 2010.  Final criteria are scheduled to be released in the middle of 2011.  Please visit the NCQA website to view the proposed standards.
