Participation Needed in Important RUC Survey

The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), the American Academy of Pain Medicine, (AAPM), the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (AAPMR),the International Spine Intervention Society (ISIS) and the North American Spine Society (NASS) request your participation in a survey we are conducting as part of the AMA/Specialty Society RVS Update Committee (RUC) process. 

Under review are the codes that describe electronic analysis of programmable implanted pumps for intrathecal or epidural drug infusion. If you perform these services and would like to participate, please send your name and e-mail address to Sharon Merrick, ASA coding and reimbursement manager at s.merrick@asawash.org.

The surveys will close on Monday, December 27, 2010.
