Stanford University MOCA Part IV Simulation Course

The American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) now requires anesthesiologists to participate in one simulation-based training course every ten years in order to maintain certification. This course is designed to meet this requirement for anesthesia delivery providers and is delivered by leaders in anesthesia and the field of simulation-based anesthesia cases, as well as team in crisis situations through Crisis Resource Management (CRM) training. Learning objectives for this activity are: 1. Develop strategies to apply technical skills to appropriately diagnose and treat anesthesia crisis situations. 2. Develop strategies to apply crisis resource management skills during clinical crisis situations. 3. Develop strategies to apply crisis reflective and self-assessment skills to review and analyze clinical performance. The course is intended for national and international anesthesiology providers, including CRNA’s. Take this opportunity to network with colleagues and to spend time with the faculty. Please contact us if you have any questions.
