Dates: The ASA-ASRA Call for Concepts is open from Monday, July 17, 2017 until Monday, August 7, 2017.
Project Overview: The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) and the America Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA) invite anesthesiologists, pain medicine physicians and members of the public to submit measure concepts related to acute and chronic pain for development in 2017.
Quality measure reporting is essential for local quality improvement activities including benchmarking, and the success of physician anesthesiologists in federal payment programs such as the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). Together, the ASA and ASRA are dedicated to expanding the set of measures available for anesthesiologists and pain medicine physicians to report. They invite members to submit measure concepts related to regional anesthesia and pain medicine, with particular interest in high-priority process or outcome measures related to:
- Acute pain procedures using regional anesthesia
- Postoperative pain management
- Chronic pain management
Submit your measure concept here.
(Measure concepts will only be collected via Survey Monkey).
