Advocacy Media Campaign

Proactive media outreach on the Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield policy proposal, ASA’s pushback, and the policy reversal generated more than 2,100 stories alone, garnering audience impressions that reached 6 billion in outlets including ABC News, Associated Press, CNN, NBC News, New York Times, NPR, and The Washington Post.

Launched a digital advertising campaign to promote an open letter urging insurance companies to prioritize patients over profits, in response to adverse insurer billing practices. Ads targeted patients with the potential to be affected by insurer actions, members, and policymakers in major news outlets including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and CNN.
