ASA proactively pursued media attention on a range of topics in 2024 including: research presented during ANESTHESIOLOGY®2024, articles in Anesthesiology on anesthesia workforce shortages and the impact of wildfire smoke on acute illness, ASA’s practice parameter to help reduce postoperative delirium, ASA’s joint guidance on GLP-1 agonists, ASA’s Statement on Harassment, Incivility, and Disrespect, and more.
