The ASA Committee on Global Humanitarian Outreach (GHO) is pleased to announce the application cycle for the 2018-19 scholarship program for U.S. anesthesiology residents to spend a month in a resource-poor setting. The site for the rotation will be a CURE Hospital in Ethiopia, Uganda, Malawi or Kenya, or a GHO-affiliated site in Rwanda or Guyana. View our program page for details.

Looking for Anesthesiologist for Surgical Mission to Ghana, September 21-30, 2018

The International Surgical Health Initiative (ISHI) is looking for an anesthesiologist to join our mission to Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital (TQMH) in Mampong, Ghana (a rural district hospital 40km Northeast of Accra) September 21-30. We aim to perform 45-50  general surgery and GYN cases (hernia, hysterectomy, lumps/bumps) over 5 operative days.
