AARP, CBS-TV interview ASA president for Patient Safety Awareness Week
Beverly Philip, M.D., FACA, FASA, was quoted in an AARP article, which discussed 10 things fully vaccinated people should know, including whether it’s a good time to see the doctor or have surgery at this point in the pandemic. “Being vaccinated, now is the safest it has been to have surgery in well over a year,” said Dr. Philip. Dr. Philip was also interviewed by WLKY-TV (CBS) in Louisville, KY, on March 23 and KPHO-TV (CBS) in Phoenix on March 26.
