CHICAGO – The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) announced it has been selected as one of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® in the Nation in 2024 by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR). In addition to this national recognition, ASA has also been named a Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® in Chicago. This marks the eighth consecutive year the Society has received both designations.

The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For honors companies that demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their human resource practices and employee enrichment and engagement. The national program honored 432 winning organizations, including ASA, from across the country, out of 1,500 nominations.
The winning companies were assessed by an independent research firm, which reviewed several key measures relative to other nationally recognized winners. Winners raised the bar and were scored on a range of categories, including: Leadership, Strategy, and Company Performance; Compensation, Benefits and Employee Solutions; Recruitment and Selection; Employee Enrichment, Engagement and Retention; Creative Wellness and Wellbeing Solutions; Community Initiatives and Corporate Responsibility; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; and Work-Life Blend. Winners will be recognized during the Best and Brightest National Summit in March.

ASA has also been named a 2024 Best and Brightest In Wellness® company – for excellence in health awareness and promoting a culture of wellness, contributing to a healthier workplace – for a third consecutive year.
