Submit Measure Concepts for Consideration in the 2018 Measure Development Cycle

The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Committee on Performance and Outcomes Measurement (CPOM) is soliciting measure concepts for consideration for 2018 measure development.

The call for measure concepts is open from January 8 to February 7, 2018.

Quality measure reporting and benchmarking is critical to local quality improvement as well as physician anesthesiologists’ success in federal payment programs, including the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). CPOM welcomes anesthesia-related measure concepts across the perioperative period and in a variety of subspecialties for consideration in the 2018 measure development cycle. ASA remains devoted to expanding the set of measures available for physician anesthesiologists and other eligible clinicians to report.
