During the week of Sunday, April 3, 2022 – Saturday, April 9, 2022 the ASA Medical Student Component encourages all ASA members to engage in raising the awareness of anesthesia’s impact on our environment. There are two options:
Option A: Sign up to volunteer with Project C.U.R.E. to repackage and redistribute medical supplies to resource limited communities across the world. Volunteering locations include:
- Houston, TX
- Nashville, TN
- Chicago, IL
- Kansas City, KS
- Mid-Atlantic
- Denver, CO
Option B: Alternatively, you can collaborate with your school’s Anesthesiology Interest Group to organize an environmental health community service event within your local community.
