Resources for Other Care Team Members

What You Should Know:

The anesthesia care team consists of not only a physician anesthesiologist, fellow or resident, but may include nurse anesthetists, anesthesiologist assistants, students or other non-physician anesthesia students (i.e., dental anesthesia). It is important that a physician anesthesiologist supervises and delegates appropriate tasks to care team members for responsibility of the patient.
