ASA is here to support your state society by providing the tools and resources you need to grow and retain your membership.
When requested by a component society, the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) will bill and collect component society membership dues in conjunction with ASA dues. ASA provides the component societies with online reports that are designed to give you easy access to your members' data! The following reports are all online and can be found on ASAHQ.org/Member Center/My Account. You will need to login to the Member Center to access these reports.
The current list of online reports that you can run and download are the: Member Roster Report, Member New and Rejoin Report, Member Paid-Unpaid Report, Member Counts Report (by membership category) and Component Society Dues Rates (for your current year). All of these online reports are tied into the ASA membership database. They are dynamic reports reflecting your membership data at the point in time that a report is run.
Included below are two instructional guides to help you navigate to the online reports (using your login) in the My Account area and a helpful guide to help you understand the Member Paid-Unpaid report.
The FASA Designation program, launched in May 2017, has had a strong response from our members. As of February 2021, we have over 1,200 FASA recipients. ASA publishes the FASA names in our weekly ASAP e-newsletter and provides state society Executive Directors with regular updates on the members in your component society who have been awarded the designation. The FASA designation also appears on your component member roster.
Included, we have provided social media and web-ready graphic files of various sizes and a brief promotional description of the program for posting to your website. In order to ensure your content never goes out of date, we ask you to link back to the ASA FASA content pages for the latest information.
ASA staff will continue its process of validating members’ 5 years of component membership and their leadership, advocacy and educational participation in their state society by contacting the Executive Director directly. Your prompt responses ensure the shortest possible turnaround time for each application.
Questions about the program can be sent to [email protected] or to Mike Alesch.
