Kraig S. de Lanzac, MD, FASA is the Assistant Secretary of the ASA and former ASA Director from Louisiana. He is the past-Chair of the ASA Committee on Communications and the Committee on the Anesthesia Care Team. Dr. de Lanzac is Director of Clinical Anesthesia at Tulane Lakeside Hospital and a member of the faculty at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is the founding partner and former member of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medical Consultants. He received his medical degree and completed his residency in anesthesiology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans.
Adam Striker, MD, FASA, is currently Chair of the ASA Committee on Communications, and is the series editor for ASA’s Central Line podcast series. He is an Associate Professor and serves as staff anesthesiologist in the Division of Cardiac Anesthesia at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and in the Division of Pediatric Anesthesia at Kentucky Children’s Hospital as part of the Joint Congenital Heart Care Program. He received his undergraduate degree in engineering from Purdue University and his medical degree from Indiana University. He completed his pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Northwestern University.
