Dr. Tammy Euliano is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine and practices primarily obstetric anesthesia. She holds several patents related to simulation and maternal-fetal monitoring, has numerous publications and teaching awards, and is co-author of Essential Anesthesia: From Science to Practice, now in its second edition. Her newest venture is as an author, with her debut medical thriller Fatal Intent coming out March 2.
Dr. Euliano is a former medical Student Clerkship Director, Clinical Competency Chair, Director of Obstetric Anesthesia and Residency Program Director. She completed all of her training at the University of Florida, from undergrad through medical school, anesthesiology residency, and obstetric anesthesia fellowship. She has been on faculty there since 1996.
Adam Striker, MD, FASA, is currently Chair of the ASA Committee on Communications, and is the series editor for ASA’s Central Line podcast series. He is an Associate Professor and serves as staff anesthesiologist in the Division of Cardiac Anesthesia at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and in the Division of Pediatric Anesthesia at Kentucky Children’s Hospital as part of the Joint Congenital Heart Care Program. He received his undergraduate degree in engineering from Purdue University and his medical degree from Indiana University. He completed his pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Northwestern University.
