The American Society of Anesthesiologists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Society of Anesthesiologists designates this Enduring activity for a maximum of 10.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditS™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Please note that ABA reports the total number of credits each diplomate has claimed by completing MOCA Minute on a quarterly basis. Participants only receive credits for those questions completed on time for each quarter. Purchasing this product does not guarantee 10.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. If you opted in, you will receive an email from the ASA with directions on how to access the credit claiming page.

ASA will send an email to those individuals who opted in to this program.
  • Assess the current state of knowledge of fundamental and subspecialty anesthesia topics and identify knowledge gaps.
  • Develop a strategy to address identified gaps using resources provided as references within the program.
  • Utilize enhanced knowledge in clinical practice.
Anesthesiologists who participated in the 2024 MOCA Minute and opted in for credit through the ABA.
